Before the fitters arrive for installation the customer must make sure that the area where the spa will be located, has been cleared of all garden ornaments and furniture that might obstruct access for the spa.
More importantly, the customer must make sure that any access points are clear i.e. that all fence panels have been removed, that ramps have been put in place (if necessary) and all other obstacles removed from the entry route. The entry route must be at least 1metre wide, allowing for corners.
On the day of installation procedure will be as follows:
Payment
The installers with arrive at your house, and will proceed to ask for payment, should you have
any outstanding balance. Please understand that once the spa is taken off the vehicle it cannot be put back on without the assist of a crane. Therefore the driver will request that your final balance (if applicable) be paid before the spa is unloaded from the vehicle. As title to the spa does not pass to you, the customer, until the funds have cleared, please ensure that any final balance is paid in cleared funds (Cash or bank draft). If paid in cash, the driver will give you a receipt on the day of delivery. Thank you for your kind understanding in this matter.
Electrics
Provided that access to the spa site is clear, the tub will be sited by our fitters. It must be noted that the fitters cannot connect the electrical supply and a qualified electrician will have to be on site.
This is done in accordance with the new EU regulations that any electrical work must be carried out in
accordance with the current (16th edition) IEE wiring regulations and by a qualified electrician. Please
understand this is for YOUR safety and maintains the warranty of the spa.
Accessories
Once the spa is in situ any extras that you have ordered are fitted.
Commissioning
Once the tub is safely connected to the electrical supply and sited securely in place, it
will be filled with water. This is conventionally done with a standard garden hose. This can take up to 2
hours so please leave sufficient time when planning your day. We will then add a sanitizer to the water and balance the ph for you.
Demo
The fitters will then demonstrate the features of the spa and discuss the correct procedure for
aftercare whilst giving full training on operation and instructions for water management.
Satisfaction Forms
The customer will be asked to sign 2 forms. A delivery note when the spa arrives and then a
customer satisfaction form following installation of the spa. This is so we can ensure that the installation
has been carried out properly and so we can improve the experience for customers in the future. Please
note that the delivery drivers/fitters will NOT be able to leave the spa at the premises unless BOTH of these forms are completed and signed by the customers. Where a crane is used to lift the spa into place, both forms must be signed and payment made to the fitters before the lift is engaged.
The fitters will then leave you to enjoy your spa experience.
It must be noted that any packaging and wrapping will be left at the site of installation and it is therefore
responsibility of the customer to dispose of in the correct manner. Furthermore, any lifting equipment- unless agreed by prior arrangement and confirmed in writing- is to be paid for and arranged by the customer.
Once a date for delivery and installation is allocated to you, it is your responsibility to inform us of any changes that need to be made. You must do this at least one week prior to your allocated installation date. If we have not been informed of any changes to the installation date within this stated period you will still be required to make your final payment on the installation date originally allocated to you. Further to this you will forfeit your free delivery and installation if applicable and there will be a further charge of £495.00 to re-deliver.
Charges
In the unlikely event of a problem developing with your spa, please report the problem at the earliest possible convenience. Should there be a problem with the spa at the time of delivery, our engineers will be dispatched to repair the problem as soon as possible. We endeavor to ensure that ALL accessories are delivered with the spa but in the unlikely event that there is something missing, please report this immediately and these will be delivered to you once in stock, without charge. All other charges for repair are detailed in the warranty accompanying the spa and a copy of this is available upon request.
